British ORT

ORT was founded in St Petersburg, Russia in 1880 and since 1920 British ORT has been raising funds to support ORT's vital work around the world.

The significant financial contribution made to ORT's global network of schools, colleges and educational initiatives is made possible by generous supporters like you and by the many selfless volunteers who lend their time and energies to our fundraising activities throughout the year.

The money we raise will often result in the release of further funding and material support from the partners with whom ORT works, including education authorities, state governments and non-governmental organisations. But with many tens of thousands of students to support and so much more to do, we are always in need of more funding.
